It's your choice

A friend of mine recently shared a great quote with me...."Either you live a life of discipline, or you live a life of regret". His comment was provided in the context of business and the ability to execute - that you can have all the great ideas in the world, but if you don't have the discipline of follow through and execution, you won't get much done. He's right. I've seen far too many people at all levels of an organization talk a good game, but fail in the execution. They usually blame a whole host of external factors, but the reality is that they've simply failed to prioritize their time and dedicate personal effort to the cause. Whether you fail or prevail in business depends more on what you do to yourself than on what others do to you. The same holds true for life outside of the office. Any life of significance requires hard work, sacrifice, commitment, dedication and the daily routine of discipline which many people find too difficult. It's far easier to waste time. Takes less effort. But in the end, what will you have to show for it? That's where the regret comes in. What if.....I could have.....I should have....if only......I wish I had.......Regret. Choose to live a life with no regrets. Choose to live with intention. BELIEVE and ACHIEVE!
